Healthy lifestyle

At Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya, Shiv Uphaar Bhavan, Premnagar, a panel discussion on the topic “Youth for a Healthy Lifestyle” was organized on the occasion of National Youth Day, commemorating the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda.

On this occasion, Regional Coordinator of the Youth Wing of Brahma Kumaris from Indore, Brahma Kumari Chhaya Didi; Co-Regional Coordinator Brahma Kumari Meetu Didi; Dr. Rudrika Bhatele; CA Ravikant Jain; Engineer Anand Kaurwar; and Architect Shwetank Jain expressed their views before the gathered youth.

Brahma Kumari Meetu Didi, Co-Regional Coordinator, Youth Wing, Indore Zone, explained the objective of the program. She said that many individuals are making efforts to guide the youth in the right direction, but such efforts remain incomplete without spirituality. The Brahma Kumaris organization is providing value-based education to youth across the country and channeling their abilities in a positive direction. Today, many young people in the institution are adopting moral values with the aim of world transformation through self-transformation, working toward making India a “Golden India.” Spirituality helps maintain mental and physical balance in life.

Brahma Kumari Chhaya Didi, Regional Coordinator, Youth Wing, Indore Zone, speaking as the chief guest, said that a true youth is one who can change the course of time and maintain balance between awareness and enthusiasm. Youth are the greatest asset of the nation. For a healthy lifestyle, one should watch the rising sun daily, exercise regularly, avoid stress, and increase the gap before reacting to any situation. Work hard to realize your resolutions and leave the results to God. Only then can we give our hundred percent to any task.

Young Chartered Accountant CA Ravikant Jain, while giving motivational tips, advised youth to reduce screen time and increase real-life experiences, and to adopt new skills in life. By maintaining a balanced diet and balanced thought process, we can create a healthy lifestyle.

Dr. Rudrika Bhatele, MD, urged youth to sleep on time, get adequate rest, and wake up on time as the first steps toward a healthy lifestyle. Any illness begins when daily routine is disturbed. Doing one task at a time with full effort and surrendering the results to God can make life simple and smooth.

Brahma Kumari Vimla Didi, in her blessings, appealed to youth to exercise for at least thirty minutes daily to stay physically strong and to practice meditation for ten minutes each morning and evening to remain mentally healthy. Dr. Anand Kaurwar, a worker of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, said in his address that spending time with family and always working for the progress of family, society, and nation should be the resolve of youth. Dedicated youth committed to their own and the nation’s progress are the greatest asset of the country.

The program was successfully conducted by Brahma Kumari Pooja Didi. A large number of NCC cadets, young IT professionals, students, and regular young attendees of the institution were present at the event.
